Minecrafte forge builds 1.122/25/2024 ![]() ![]() One, to send the player a message whenever they right click on a block. I'm going to assume you know enough about Forge to accomplish everything in this tutorial, so if you don't I suggest going to learn the very basics if you find you can't follow along. Keep in mind, you're gonna need to know a little about Forge to do this, though not that much. Overall, this doesn't really matter because the concept is the same in any version. HOWEVER, there are a lot of great mods for 1.12.2 that were never updated, and it's also (unfortunately) the version I'm most familiar with. That is almost a lie, it's honestly the worst version for creating mods due to many issues with Forge Gradle in 1.12.2. and (obviously) Spigot 1.12.2 as Forge 1.12.2 is widely considered the golden version of mods. It really isn't very complicated.įor this tutorial, I'm going to be using Forge 1.12.2-14. ![]() If you're gonna be using a server jar that allows both Forge mods and Spigot plugins, doing this may be worth considering to save yourself some potentially major hassle, though some may think it unprofessional (which it kinda is.)Īnyway, I'm here today to give a simple tutorial on how to achieve this. If you're not familiar with Forge (and don't want to be,) this annoyance is even worse. Things you can accomplish with Spigot in a single line of code may take ten lines with Forge. HOWEVER, Forge is kinda complex, and Spigot is kinda simple. Now, why would anyone want to do this? Wouldn't it be better to do whatever you wanted to do using Spigot with a Forge mod instead? In short, yes, it would be. Maybe I just didn't look at enough of these posts. However, I've never seen anyone actually give any answers to these questions. I have seen some posts where people have asked about spigot plugin and forge mod interaction, mainly about listening for mod events and then doing something through spigot. ![]()
